Summary
Since you are dual wielding, you can actually fire quite fast with these. It's obviously no Thompson, but it can serve you well. With the damage and relatively high magazine, you can easily find yourself tearing through a horde.
Background Story
The apocalypse diverted the attention of the military. Clearly, there was a bigger threat than some random band of terrorists attempting to blow up a bomb.
As priorities shifted, so did resources. Eventually, the military formed a deal with R-Brain Hardwork to help production of their own weapons along. As part of the agreement, R-Brain Hardwork was allowed to also sell these weapons to the public. The Berettas are only one of many weapons available today.
Tips
- You can't compare this to the Dragunov, but it's still capable of taking down an Edgar from a relatively far distance.
- The quick fire rate may leave you burning through ammo quickly.
- If needed, bring in some armor that give you some extra clips. It may save your life.
- Even with the speedy fire rate, firing even too fast will make you start missing shots. Take a break once in awhile.
Trivia
- This is (technically these are) the first Primary to allow the user to dual wield.
- If you fire slowly enough, you can fire all 16 bullets out of the Beretta in your right hand.
- Even though you haven't touched the Beretta in your left hand, the game will treat it as empty anyways.
