Summary[]
As of 1.4.8, Swimming in water now cleanses survivors of the Swarmer's very powerful and very annoying "Swarm Attack." One problem is that the amount of maps with water is extremely limited and most of the maps that have some sort of water usually kill you upon entry. The only other way to get rid of the bees is to take fire damage, which is extremely uncommon in the survival world. I've sought to fix this dilema by suggesting a new item which allows you to instantly remove the swarmer's negative effects for a cheap price

The Water Bottle is a multiple-use utility item desgined to counter the swarmer's attacks. Upon being hit by the Honey/Hive, you'll be able to equip out the Water Bottle. When used, an animation will play out of the bottle being opened and the player pouring water on themselves. Upon doing so, the status effects caused by the swarmer will be removed. The Water Bottle does not grant any passive effects, nor does it passively protect you from attacks like the Firevest and Beekeeper Suit. you must manually use the water bottle for it to take effect
Tips[]
- Use this when you're attacked by a swarmer to get rid of the swarmer's disabling attacks
- Its best used on maps with little to no water
- Be careful with how you use this, as it's only got 3 uses
- This is most efficiently used at low health or when you're attempting an escape
- You should still avoid Swarmers at all cost. just because you can cleanse their negative effects doesn't mean you're not immune to them
- Bringing the Beekeeper Suit is still advised, as the armor will completely negates the Swarmer's Hive attack
- The Water Bottle in conjunction with the Beekeeper Suit is an excellent combo, as you're able to block the Swarmer's Hive Attack and cleanse yourself of the movement-impairing Honey Attack
- This item is economically efficient, as a swarmer's kill-reward is 35$ and the Water Bottle has multiple uses. Once you use the Water Bottle, quickly kill the swarmer to earn back your money
- It's smartest to buy this from the ingame store; although it's pricier, you'll be able to keep your third loadout slot for a more useful item
- This doesn't make you immune to the swarmer's basic attack (Claw). be wary whilst attempting to melee a swarmer
