Summary

The TrueNite TN12 was a flaslight attachment for the MP5 and the M4A1.

It added a flashlight, which was activated by pressing "E". It also granted an increase in accuracy.

Background Story

TrueNite was only one of the many companies creating products for the survival effort. Their contribution was the TrueNite TN12, a flashlight of sorts. It wasn't as revolutionary as they first thought. Turns out there's little one could do to improve the field of flashlights.

After a few days of production, TrueNite filed for bankruptcy. Many people nowadays don't even know they existed in the first place.

Ironically, the demand of flashlights would skyrocket years after TrueNites bankruptcy, as night time engagements against zombies became a more common occurrence. Even more unfortunately so, the incredibly weak Fenix PD35 flashlights would end up replacing the far more superior TrueNite TN12.

Tips

  • This has nearly the same accuracy buff as the Fenix PD35.
    • If you cannot afford this, the Fenix is a good substitute.
      • The K5 Silencer can also be used as a substitute for both as it does give more accuracy, but it does so at a cost of range.

Trivia

  • This attachment was on top of the M4A1 barrel instead of being underneath it.
  • This flashlight was based on a real life attachment called ThruNite TN12.
    • It was actually misspelled ThruNite TN12 for the MP5.
  • The most expensive DEMO attachment and flashlight attachment in R2DA.
    • This was the most expensive attachment until the Leupold Mark 4 came out, which costs twice as much as the TrueNite 12 was.
