"Ah, the Toy Hammer. Slam it right into the ground for its Super Smash! Just like King Cherrycake's Sugary Stomp, also like the Owonade's explosion, it's extremely harmful to EVERYONE! Other survivors, yourself, zombies, well, not the bosses though. Make sure to give those zombies a piece of your mind!"

Summary

The Toy Hammer is a weak, high-energy costing children's toy that was produced by Hellish Night. Its main draw is its ability is to trip and knock players away with its Super Smash ability, which has a large radius.

Before v1.3.8 you were able to obtain the Toy Hammer via Duck Chest in Duckland or buy it with Tickets from the Event Store.

Background Story

As with most Hellish Night products, the Toy Hammer is another one of the company's worthless products that, despite its worthlessness, people still want this simply because it's "limited".

How did a Toy Hammer get in a chest on a farm in the first place? Why a Toy Hammer out of all things? Why is it weaker than a Toy Sword?

Then again, most of Hellish Night's products are found in the weirdest of places. Hell (no pun intended), you'll probably find one of their useless items in a cereal box one day.

Actually, forget that. Just been hearing Hellish Night is opening up training lessons to use this weapon properly. Heard it has some devastating effects.

Tips

  • Don't use this for killing; only use it to trip players/mobs.
    • The 8 damage it normally deals is quite miniscule, even in Melee Smash.
      • Keep in mind, however, that Super Smash does 22 damage on impact and often inflicts fall damage too.
  • To activate the Super Smash ability, you need to hold the left mouse button (or the respective button for Gamepads and Tablet).
    • This is very useful to break up hordes chasing you, especially in Single Player.
    • You do not have melee immunity when you are holding the Super Smash. Letting go will create an explosion, similar to the Owonade (though the radius is slightly smaller).
    • This ability is very useful in Melee Smash as you can wade off attackers with the large radius.
      • This ability may also inflict high fall damage to players.
    • The Super Smash can be used in Team Deathmatch and Party Deathmatch without self harm to you or your team.
      • However, the Super Smash cannot destroy doors or Windows, like other melees can, in Team Deathmatch.
  • Bringing a reliable primary like the AK-47 or Famas is recommended if you find yourself low on stamina.
    • Stamina boosting items, such as the Candy Cane, and stamina boosting armors, such as the Scout is also recommended.
