I am sort of a Yotsubro too, but I can see why they say it was rushed. It switches the back and forth the idea of, "Is this a dream or reality?" and that makes us question Fuutarou's disposition, as we can never tell if what we're seeing is exactly what's real. I can see where Negi was going with this, but it just ends up becoming real confusing.
I think the part where people say the ending arc was rushed was that it crammed a lot of plot points together in a dull way and made their screentime too short, like the quintuplets' biological father for example. He was there for a few chapters as a challenge for the quints, and then he disappeared from space time.
Also including the fact that Yotsuba was the least developed quint of them all, seeing that she was purposefully a background character. She doesn't compare to as much to say Nino who had many interactions with Fuutarou which could be a reason why she's the fandoms choice.
I've been seeing a lot of Bokuben comparisons, but that's a story that I've yet to partake in.
I'm not really confusing with the dream or reality part. I mean, for an idiot like me, it's totally a reality.
I can't disagree with Yots have the least development though. Imo, in terms of relationship with Fuu, she already fell in love with him since they were young so it stays the same for the entire manga. Her developments are just her personality of self-sacrifice and "Everyone else's happiness is more important" mentality.
But after knowing the fact that Negi chose Yots to be a bride since the beginning and supposed to be a heroine/first girl instead of Itsuki is kinda explained lots of hints and foreshadows in the past chapters.
And nope, I haven't read Spy x Family yet. Sorry.
I'm not a big fan of action genre tho I'm more into a slice of life (kill me plz), rom-com and psychological.
Why the hell are we discussing manga in Roblox wikia
It's free real estate here in the internet, we can do whatever we want up 'till the limits of our imagination.
Oh, and forgive for saying that Yotsuba had the least development. I meant to say that her development was pretty rushed, as her flashbacks merely gave her characterization; no proper change or growth as a person due to the events of the story. A counterargument could be made to this when we have a look that she might've changed during the festival arc, but she was chosen before we could've seen any of it.
Realistically, it would make sense for Fuutarou to choose Yotsuba, as being the one who supported him from the beginning. However, I didn't notice any conflict/ development in their relationship throughout the story: their interactions stayed the same from beginning to even after they were together. There's no feeling of, "Look how far they've come" which led to my dissatisfaction.
Itsuki got an even worse treatment, but I'd like to keep this on the short side, so I ain't opening that Pandora's Box yet.
