oudist, I concur that M93R is absolute shit and Skorpion is in a bad light at the moment, the rest like Steyr, Wingmaster and M16 are actually very potential than what credit is given during my runs as Survivor, All they require is the cash, the right moment, mob priority and distance to be useful than you might think. The Steyr M is very useful when you have extended ammo and Ice ammo together. With the range, average damage yet can freeze a mob with one shot, Ice Ammo has saved me and a few of my team mates and other people a lot more times than my Ice Gun can - despite it can be refilled. Who would want the Ice Gun when you can hold more Ice ammo and conserve your shots just as efficiently on short Survival/Rescue rounds? let alone have the perfect range (by +30) to snipe targets in a AR's field of range and being a reliable secondary before CK Swat? Anyways, for Wingmaster, with extended ammo (even though awkward for ammo pool) gives you more shots that Spas-12 cannot compete, sometimes a reliable secondary can be helpful. I actually prefer the wingmaster with the range, fire power and accuracy - at least the pellet spread is better than Spas-12, where you can frequently miss your shots as if were a Sniper, and you drain ammo very quickly, and the reload.. the reload on Spas can kill you, where as Wingmaster has an attachment for faster reload XD. So for the M16A1, on the other hand isn't really bad that you can assume, I would go for this than the Thompson at any chance, all due to it's range, Magazine reserves, similar damage and now seemingly fine accuracy most of the time. Of course, it is not a horde control weapon, but being the best assault rifle in terms of damage, accuracy and range without attachments makes it far more reliable - just so I had used it in many of my runs, seen others use the M16 often than Thompson. It's all about not firing like a mad man and timing your shots - even if your life depends on it. At least, that's how I see it. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, though for being in the hands of LR's, they can be really well outfitted against serious threats - if they play their cards right and know how the weapon works and such. The real issue, is there can be serious rank gaps in acquiring new weapons, but even then, some of the current weapons can really use the nerf -
