The news of PR pulling the plug on R2DA is very sad indeed, but let's not forget why we feel this way. We feel this because we were lucky to experience the game during its development. Some may have joined late like me (Spring 2019) and other are veterans from back to the original R2DA but all of us who feel sad about the discontinuation will also feel grateful (and maybe some regrets for those who bought stuff a few minutes before the announcement) for ever playing the game in its time. Sadly, good things don't last forever and no one is capable of developing and managing a game for such a long time.
In a way, it's relieving to see PR finally lose those chains that has held him so long in developing a game that continuously dragged him to overwork himself. As much as it may seem, developing a game isn't just sitting down and typing stuff. It's an exhausting process that takes time and it's definitely such a huge achievement keeping a Roblox game up for almost 7 years.
This is PR's decision and there's nothing we could do but accept it and enjoy its last moments together. But, in honor of the game's closure, I would like to thank PR and the staff for creating and developing a game for almost 7 years and to bid you luck on your next project (if that's ever going to happen).
