Part 0 - Opening
Before you write down any comment, please read entire Post of mine.
Deadvelopment Center is probbably one of more interesting features in R2DA, yet it is terrible.
It was only added to counter Prestige Ranks HP Buffs.
It stayed as it is for really long time now, and it really pisses me off that it's simple to grind levels on Infected.
Just leave your PC running while you grind up Points.
I think I speak for most of us when I say that it should be Reworked.
In this post I like to show why exactly Deadvelopment Center needs such Rework, and what exactly has to be changed.
Part 1 - The Issue of Upgrades
So, the Upgrades in Deadvelopment Center are quite straight foward.
We can upgrade Infected Health, Damage, Stamina, make our moves bit faster, or sometimes add completely new mechanic to it.
Yet still, it is not balanced correctly.
While Zombies like Digger or Edgar get balanced upgrades, zombies like Leaper or Normal Infected get Upgrades either really OP, or just annoying to deal with.
Take Leapers C4 Upgrades. Simple enough, if Leaper with this Upgrade dies it will explode dealing damage to everybody nearby.
Yet still, the damage it decent, and if 3 Leapers with C4's attack anybody, they will either kill them, or deal damage so high that it will leave them hopeless.
It makes dealing with such Leapers annoying.
Of course you can say that "But it isn't prement Upgrade. Each it Leaper dies with it, it will cause Upgrade to go down one level", yet still, how is this balanced that Leapers instead of picking off lone survivors, will now just jump into the crowd of people in hopes they will get killed.
It removes core element of what Leaper was made for.
It also makes killing Leaper harder, since you should get away from the Leaper if it's close to you before you kill them.
Normal Infected becomes really annoying to deal with.
First, you max out Speed and Damage.
Then you just go AFK and get the money.
It's that simple.
Part 2 - The problem with Non-Prestige Players
As I said before.
Deadvelopment Center was made to counter Prestige Players.
So what about Non-Prestige or Low Prestige ones?
They are basiclly get destroyed by zombies with Deadvelopment Center Upgrades.
They cannot defend themselfs as Players with Prestige.
People cannot play game without having Max Damage and Max Speed Idle Normal Infected just killing them in seconds.
Many people become mad at the game and leave it.
This makes the game less popular.
Part 3 - Nerfs and Reworks.
Let's make several changes.
If Zombie goes Idle, make the Buff in Deadvelopment Center not apply on thier Idle Version.
Either replace C4 Upgrade for Leaper with something else, or make Explosion only damage the one who killed the Leaper. My idea of Rework is that we should have ability to deal damage when we jump on somebody
Idle Zombies do not get Levels.
VIP Owners are allowed to either turn Deadvelopment Center On or Off on thier server
These Changes even tho small, would probbably make dealing with such Zombies less annoying.
