Does the community even bother to test them out? What kind of map should a developer make? Please let me know.
Not worth unless the new dev is active on the wiki
People will give critiques to make the map better, don't take it as if they think it shouldn't added
develop the map layout as something that would be fun to play on with the gameplay of R2D, not a carbon copy of a L4D map because both games do not translate well with their different styles of gameplay. add purpose to certain parts of the map and finish it completely, or it'll become something that people only play because it's new, they forgot to vote a better map, or it's a newbie who found out how to vote for a map
@VerjoyedAngelo True words!
Go for it. Just as Sinister said, pay great attention to your map's layout.
There are some beautiful maps in Reason 2 Die that don't get played, purely because they just aren't fun.
@XTso Good advice for people submitting non-greenlight maps. Greenlight maps however can be whatever they sort of want to be since they aren't in main rotation. It doesn't mean they should all be that way but I think you get what I mean.
@OLatios While I haven't officially tossed my hat into the ring with map-making, I don't know if getting your map Greenlit would be the goal. Overall, less people would play it.
A map thats not trash please
As long as map has original objective and seems creative enough while making it fair for both Survivors and Zombies you can for sure make such maps and publish them here.
I would love to see more maps based on L4D/L4D2 Maps.
I really want to see Maps based on Dead Center or The Passing.
What do you think?
