If only they knew about how long we had to wait for the aquatic event
If only they knew about how long we had to wait for the aquatic event
I was there when it was delayed, but I was a nobody back then.
@Mindlessmicrowave you still are
We're a little shy of two months past Easter, with Aquatic being about 3 months past the start of Summer. It might get close.
Granted, R2DA's in a much weirder state than it was back in Aquatic, and Place's burnout can only get worse the more he works. Events being delayed might become a standard 'til the new guy hops in. Maybe an event either now or in the future might beat Aquatic's "delayed" record?
Keep in mind there was only a 4 month gap between the Easter 2019 Event and the Aquatic Event. However, the Christmas 2019 Event was 6 and a half months ago, meaning he's had half a year to work on this thing but it's still being delayed. I think that alone showcases the state of this game,
11 Days to go and then it's June.
A month until spring is over
@Heisermann Place has worked on this game and it's predecessor since 2008. With R2DA's current event schedule, he's had to work on the following events:
Easter in March
Summer in June-August
Halloween in October
Christmas in December
Yearly.
Considering these updates follow the trend of having an event weapon, a couple event items, two new maps (boss quest and boss arena), a new boss, zombie skins, and Christmas also requiring the presents and their contents to be made, they are very demanding events. With each following year, it also gets even harder to stay unique and creative with the events contents, instead of repeating what a previous year brought.
It's no surprise that this is starting to get to him. Give him a break.
@XTso I'm not criticizing PR for not catering to a dead game, I'm just stating the obvious.
@Heisermann The obvious is that you can't keep expecting Place to stay consistent on top of releasing updates like he used to.
And the game isn't dead. It's not there yet.
What do you think?
