[NEW] - Mob Suggestion: The Cavebat
NOTICE: This is only a suggestion and is not even considered to be completely official. It is unlikely that a Zombie such as this will likely even be in the game at all. TL;DR is NOW included in this discussion!
Alrighty, back to some more mobs, for this one will be a very familiar face to some - as this is a returning mob (and remake suggestion) from R2D, the Cavebat! Let me be certain, this will be as balanced as much as possible to remain fun, much less of a nuisance while furthermore, bring back the nostalgia. So please, proceed on to what I have laid out!
Summary
The Cavebat is a small, agile, cute and shockingly fast mob that has burned in the memories of survivors as being absolute nuisances and a foe to be reckoned with - as they can fly!
While the Cavebat's behavior is real closely with the old R2D version, the Cavebat's abilities have been re-adjusted to be more 'modern-friendly' while more fair when it comes to dealing with these mobs. While players with snipers will struggle to get a hit, Automatic weapons are the ideal friend when wishing to terminates these god-forbidden wretches.
If used and played strategically, this mob can spell an instant game changer on the Survivor's game of keeping their distance from even the most vile and lethal mobs to be dealt with.
Background Story
Hear that flapping noise? No, it isn't your imagination, they really have returned - albeit more bearable this time...
Since their strange reappearance, they had became more in line with the zombie hordes than actually being apart of Earth's bountiful nature. Perhaps the mosquito's are nothing more to them anymore, maybe we pissed them off for the last time - no one knows, but what is certain: Is there's more target practice. No, not just the ground, the skies as well.
Now we have to find the retired lad to get back to working on those EMP Devices again...
Controls & Abilities Information
Flap: The Cavebat's primary mechanic. Every time the user clicks will gain the mob altitude while flying to where the user clicked. Using the [W] Key will force the mob to look at where your Cursor is pointing.Consumes 1.5 energy per second. If reaching Zero, the mob will fall until landing on the ground to regenerate stamina!
Spit: The Cavebat's range attack. While not as acidic as it's predecessor, they are more accurate, projected farther with a slight increase in speed. When hit by the projectile, the target is dealt -8 HP Damage.
Consumes 1/5th of it's energy. Each Spit requires a ~1.5s Cooldown to use again. Attack can only hit One Survivor at a time!
Echolocation: The Cavebat is capable to use Echolocation and detect the where-abouts and positions on any survivors on the map (appearing as a yellow dot). While being a 'Free Tag' for the player, this ability can last up to ~15s, however has a cooldown of ~60s (around a minute) until being able to use again.
Consumes 1/3rd of it's energy. Ability does not reveal Survivor's Location to the rest of your team - only to you!
Dash: If things get too dicey or otherwise, using Dash will increase your movement speed (when flying only) by 45 while giving you a 50/50 chance to resist a stun effect, however will drain your energy much more faster. This Ability should only be used to catch up to prey, making quick escapes, Be harder to hit or otherwise to traverse the map quickly.
Consumes 8 energy per second. Dash CANNOT Trip/Stun Survivors!!
Land: The Cavebat, when close enough to the ground, will land on the ground and transform to its 'Resting' Position. While it can still use it's Spit Ability, it cannot Claw Survivors. In this state, Energy is regenerated at a very quick rate.
Consumes no energy. Disables Scratch Passive when Resting. Movement Speed is lowered to 4 when Resting. To Lift Off again, use LMB to fly off!
Scratch Survivor (Passive): The Cavebat's alternative attack. While costing no energy at all, When you touch the survivor, you will deal -12 HP Damage every ~1.5s. However, you are at huge risk of being kicked/punched at to be incapacitated, extreme caution is advised when performing this.
Consumes no energy. Increases your likelihood to die by Survivors. Can only damage One Survivor at a time!
