BEFORE YOU READ THIS: I will be harsh with the reviews with a open mind, you do not have to agree with my thoughts on these maps but they are my general opinion.
TL;DR: Most maps are not really fun to play on due to how theres a lot of things with the game itself that make them unjoyable. Most maps get ignored because others are popular.
1930's Kingstreet: If you play on this map you're mostly just here for the easy campaign or Capture the base, but that really isn't a bad thing. This map has a neat balance of nice looking buildings with triangular terrain, the only problem I have with the map is how easy it is to abuse the map in ffa related maps. 8/10.
Panama Beach: A simple beach with a somewhat fun campaign that lets you steer away the boat to win. A very open map with no places to hide but replaces that with nice scenery, even if its just trees. not really used with ffa due to being so open. Elementals can still swim in water which can make things incredibly annoying sometimes, same with other zombies. (Would've liked it more if the sand was a tad bit brighter.) 6/10
Mogadishu Transit: A bland looking and tightly packed map that still allows for somewhat fun gameplay in ffa or objective based rounds. Want to win more on this map in ffa maps? Get the high ground. 5/10
Foxriver Prison: I don't have to explain this, but its a reason 2 farm. A small map that has some detail put into it. Can easily abuse hammers here. Free model spotlights are used on this map, for shame! The only reason why you'd play this map is the easy rescue mission or to grind out for a gun you like with a sideline of melee smash. 7/10
Terminal Decay: One building... One crane.... A lot of chaos. If you play any ffa related rounds on this map you know how chaotic this map can become. Even though there is one building, there is still a lot of places to go. Plenty of places to camp and is mostly played for ffa or capture the base. 7/10
Bouri Rig 71: Melee strike lovers eat your heart out. amusing to see a lot of players getting knocked off the map. A simple yet balanced place to play if you want to play just for fun. Please stop dying to the fire please man I have kids. 8/10
Casius Outpost: A compact area with smaller rooms inside. Not really played but it can sometimes pop up in ffa. The outside area is seriously rushed with free model items and a bland looking ship. A somewhat detailed map but the rating will be lowered due to how bland gameplay can get here along with camping so many pathways and walls. 4/10
Victoria Harbor: I can't say how sick I am of seeing this map. This is seriosuly just used for ctb and ffa and rarely used for rescue. One of the most common maps you see which is why I'll rate this lower then it deserves. Camp the highground to win and repeat with BarsandCK's. If you don't use sled I feel bad for you. A lot of time can be seen that was used to make the map though. 2/10 for the gameplay, 8/10 for the design.
A Winter Wonderland: 8/10Good design but gets demolished because it can be abused so much in ctb or ffa maps with bars. Still a nice looking map and is fun to play on with sbf's.
Café County: A small map that is mostly used for melee smash. Effort can be seen into making this map and is enjoyable to play on if its not related to melee smash. A good map to solo farm with. 9/10
The Complex: You will mostly be camping on the highest point on the map playing rescue but sometimes you'll see some ctb rounds or ffa. Everywhere else is like a maze and I don't see myself going around the map often because it feels really cramped. 7/10
No Mercy: You'll enjoy this map more being on top of the building then inside. If you see a brute inside the building I recommend running for the hill. Don't forget to use your flashlight! ( I do because I keep forgetting what button it is.) 7/10
Last Harvest: No one plays it and you should feel bad. a VERY wide open map with not much places to go, not much detail can be seen in the map because its mostly terrain. 3/10
Farmhouse: Before the Ticker rush nerf the campaign was a nightmare. Camp the roof to get the advantage. Please stop going to the attic and camping there with hammers, its the worse strategy in the game. A simple farm house that could use some work with the terrain and the crops, would've rated it higher if it looked more like a farm. 7/10
Zero Kelvin Station: REASON 2 RUSH THE CART AS A TICKER. Bar lovers eat your heart out here. Not really a map thats looks pleasing but its a simple map, nothing to hate on here but the objective. 7/10
Shoot'em Up Town: Can we re-name this to Capture the base town? Only used for ctb and very rarely other modes. Bar lovers just LOVE the bigger buildings. Not really a balanced map when it comes to ctb either, one side always gets the disadvantage and gets worse because of the sled abusers. Not really enjoyable to look at and the blocky style ruins this map, would've looked better as a more realistic looking map not filled with plastic. 4/10
S.S. Boliviar: Hey look another map no one plays on! If you're here expect a lot of new players, never seen in vip servers. 5/10 Barely played so have a 50/50 ish rating.
Tokyo, Japan: One word: KARAMBIT. Mostly used for ffa or rapid infection camping with the Karambit, Not enjoyable due to SO MUCH HIGH GROUND CAMPERS. This map is the only reason why players bought the karambit. 4/10
Blackfield Station: An enjoyable campaign that can rarely be finished. Never really used for other gamemodes but campaign and is sometimes played enough to call it enjoyable. A lot of care was put into the map and it deserves its rating. 9/10
Stud Harvest II: NEVER. PLAYED. I have yet to play on this map or see it at all because its never voted. ?/10
Blox Harbor: A small map with some care put into it, a lot of collide problems with bricks but its more enjoyable to play on if you don't go in the tunnel. Campaign is somewhat creative but it never gets finished. 7/10
Portland: Can't be enjoyed due to how detailed the map is. This map is better as a showcase then a r2da map. Mostly played in ffa and ctb. Sled abusers love this map and will constantly fly around the map to delay to get to the helicopter. 5/10 rating for it being a r2da map, 10/10 for how detailed and care was put into it.
Campfire Chaos: No KiLlInG SeRvEr, LeT US WiNs The ObjEcTiVE! Terrain could use some work on the edges and in general and the map is mostly played for the campaign. Rarely winnable due to how long you need to wait. 7/10
New Bloxcoast II: Rarely played and is mostly played for rescue. A lot of care was put into the map and is nice to walk around and see changes from the old map. A remake done right. 8/10
Subway: Capture the base but its entirely played in the vents. The objective is annoying when you CANT SEEM TO FIND THAT CARD TO SIT DOWN! Somewhat bland but still fun to play on if you don't die instantly to campers. 7/10
Outpost 21: I can't even call this a map, its bland and is terrible to look at. Never played. Only got in because Swager had the idea.
I still don't know why its in the game. 0/10.
'Dead Plaza 'II: A remake I don't really enjoy. The map is better left off as a r2d classic and not a remake. Somewhat detailed and for some reason causes a lot of lag, even laggier then Portland. 4/10
Caved In: Will never get into the game completly and should stay like that. Brutes just love to camp the boat. No one likes playing the objective. Rapid infection is chaotic here. 4/10
M.S Antares: Will never get into the game completly due to annoying bugs and somewhat bland gameplay. RPG lovers eat your heart out here. Special infected ruin the gameplay on this map and some of them should be removed. 6/10
Sunny Seaside: This feels even smaller then Foxriver and is a cramped mess. Not fun to play on but some care was put into it. 6/10
Toy Factory: Another map that didn't need a remake but did. Camping the roof is better then staying inside, even with all the items you can get. Only played for rescue and sometimes snowball fight. 6/10
