If you didn't know brute will possibly get his buff.
Buffs that brutes need:
- immune to any form of stun
- slight hp increase
- explosive resistance (probably like 20%)
- ability to attack when your club is gone
- reduces bullet damage by 10% (excluding headshots)
This might seem excessive, but the main issue is that brutes die way too fast now.
Once you throw your club, you're as good as dead since you're really slow and big which makes you an easy target.
Immune to any form of stun
That would make single player impossible
@Crimtine is right. Brutes at this point are not even a threat anymore for many players, especially since Chinalake and RPG can easily shred it to bits in a matter of seconds. I'm a little hesitant about brute having an immunity to stuns but the rest are reasonable buffs to it.
You do realize there’s something called a block command also?
Block: Creates a force field around the brute, making them immune
20 energy per second
That's EXACTLY the issue with the forcefield
So what? The brutes too slow to even move while blocking anyway.
Imagine not wanting Brute to be buffed. It's so bad.
A buff I'd like aside from the ones mentioned here is a significantly larger club blast radius.
If were given the ability to move were blocking you only get 2 seconds of force field while tossing a club. So there isn't much of a advantage as you get 5-6 seconds of shield time with full stamina. Which gives time for the brute to get out of spawn that could potentially kill a survivor. Without being spawn killed.
